Terms & Conditions

General policy: We reserve the right to change prices and policies. By utilizing the services, materials, training and testing provided by DSODFP, customers hereby consent to the Terms & Conditions attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Terms of Use / Copyright: Client agrees not to reverse engineer any course material or create a similar product for sale. You may not copy, reproduce, retransmit, publish or otherwise use any products for any reason other than for your own personal use. DSOD Food Safety Professionals reserves all rights.

 

Privacy Policy: DSOD Food Safety Professionals  does not sell the information it collects from you on our website. If your goods or services on the DSOD Food Safety Professionals website has been paid for by another organization (ex. your employer), we may also share some relevant information with that organization.

 

Refund/Cancellation policy: No refunds or cancellations.

IN-PERSON FOOD MANAGER SERVSAFE TRAINING & PROCTORED EXAM

Reschedules: Full credit will be granted toward rescheduling a future class if rescheduled in advance the course date. Contact our office to request rescheduling.

 

No Shows: No shows must purchase a new training course class date.

 

Retake: There is a mandatory retake fee if the test is not passed with a score of 70% or higher.

Training Attendance Policy: Instructors are required to revoke entry of late training attendees past the grace period of 15 minutes. It is mandatory that trainees receive the required hours of training to become certified managers with all accredited manager training programs. If there is an emergency preventing on-time attendance trainees are required to contact the instructor before training begins to inform them for rescheduling to avoid associated rescheduling fees.

Returned Payments/Chargeback: By disputing a Credit/Debit card charge, the cardholder agrees to incur a Chargeback Penalty Fee of $35, which will be assessed to the account. This fee is non-refundable and applies in addition to any other charges related to the dispute.

ONLINE FOOD MANAGER SERVSAFE TRAINING & PROCTORED EXAM

  • Course materials and ServSafe Exam codes will be emailed within one business day from the date of purchase.

  • ServSafe Exam codes are nonrefundable and nonreturnable.

  • One test attempt included per exam code. Retests will require the purchase of a new exam code (priced at $100)

  • Payment must be completed in order to receive an exam code.

  • By disputing a Credit/Debit card charge, the cardholder agrees to incur a Chargeback Penalty Fee of $35, which will be assessed to the account. This fee is non-refundable and applies in addition to any other charges related to the dispute.

  • There is no expiration date on a ServSafe exam code.

  • To schedule an exam appointment examinee must contact ProctorU directly.

  • It is the examinee’s responsibility to ensure they meet minimum system requirements to take the exam.

  • The online exam is available in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.

  • Examinee needs a valid government issued ID to take the exam.

  • Test results and Certificate will be delivered electronically in PDF format by the third-party test provider (ServSafe). They are usually available immediately after submitting the exam for grading, but it can take up to 24 hours for the certificate to become available.

  • No discount is available when purchasing an Exam Code for a retest.

  • According to ServSafe’s policy, examinees may take the examination twice within 30 days. If the examinee does not pass on the second attempt, they must wait at least 60 days from the most recent attempt before taking the exam again. No more than four attempts are allowed within a 12-month period.

  • To reschedule an appointment, examinees must contact ProctorU directly.

  • Examinees can reschedule a ProctorU exam session free of charge at any time up to 24 hours in advance of a scheduled session. Examinees who schedule but don’t attend a ProctorU exam session will have to pay a rescheduling fee to schedule a new session.

  • An additional fee may apply when scheduling an exam within the following 72 hours
